The Conscious Minds were an extraordinary group of musicians brought together by Harris "B.B." Seaton in 1969.

Members included B.B. Seaton on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, Ken Boothe on organ, Joe White on piano, Maurice Roberts on bass, Derrick Stewart on drums, Shan Fallen on percussion, Derrick Hinds on trombone, Winston Bryan on tenor sax, Willie Brackenridge on 1st trumpet, and Clive Scott on 2nd trumpet.

The powerful lyrics and instrumentals of Suffering Through The Nation couldn't be more relevant in these times. Sit back, listen, and let it wash through your soul. This was also the first production of this rhythm with B.B. Seaton's Pharaoh Gone Away later following the same vein.

Produced and arranged by Harris Seaton. Engineered by Errol Brown and originally recorded at Treasure Isle Studio circa 1971.
